Mission : To develop and maintain a successful communications network between business and local government.
 

This committee has begun to take on an advocacy role, as they more closely examine town issues, such as recently proposed zoning amendments in Salem, and position themselves to educate local business leaders and act as a liaison with local legislators and community leaders.   The Economic Development Committee enjoys a strong working relationship with the Town of Salem, and plans to work hard at developing similar relationships with the towns of Atkinson, Hampstead, Pelham and Windham.   The goal is to bring business to each of those communities and aid in the growth of existing business.   If you are interested in helping this committee meet its goals, join them at their monthly meetings the 1st Tuesday of every month.   For additional information, contact the Chamber at 893-3177.
